Policies and Procedures

Introduction:

Anna Rose Tattoo is dedicated to providing quality body art for her clients in a friendly,
safe and welcoming environment. Anna's professional team will correspond with clients to help
design and create a piece of art specifically designed for the individual.
Anna Rose is committed to attaining and maintaining the highest standards
in Tattooing. Anna is taking pride in upholding our workplace values and beliefs. These values
include:

• Ethical and respectful behaviour.
• Equality and inclusiveness.
• Duty of care.
• Operate to a strict standard of hygiene and safety.

Ethical and Respectful Behaviour:

Ethical and respectful behaviour is one of mine main beliefs at Anna Rose Tattoo. I do believe in
communicating with all clients and staff members with the upmost respect and integrity. From
the initial inquiry all the way through to aftercare, I strive to provide a strong level of
professionalism and customer service.
As part of my ethical beliefs, if I feel as if some design requests do not
match with my Art expertise or feel as if I cannot provide you with the service you
require, I have the right to refuse service. A tattoo is a permanent modification to the body
and I want all customers to be happy with their finished product.
I will not take on projects without having full confidence knowing that the final product will
be a masterpiece. I am more than happy to refer to another artist who may better suited
for the artwork the client is wanting. At Anna Rose Tattoo I do care about my clients and want
the best outcome for their future artwork even if this includes referring to other artists time-
to-time.

As part of my ethical values I can refuse service for the following
reasons:

• Rude, disrespectful and discriminative behaviour.
• Medical issues the client may have that may cause an issue during their tattoo
appointment.
• Medical issues the client may have regarding any skin conditions.
• Refusal of payment for the product, including booking fees.
• Requesting to tattoo an unoriginal design or a design created by another artist.

Equality and Inclusiveness:

I do strongly believe in treating everyone equally. Anna Rose tattoo is an all-inclusive
business, meaning we accept people from all walks of life. Including but not limited to;
• LGBTQIA+ community.
• All different nationalities and ethnicities.
• 18 years and upwards of age.
• People with disabilities.
• All body types.
• People on a spectrum.

We believe all bodies are beautiful and understand that clients may be more reserved than
others with exposing their body during their tattoo session. As I want mine clients to feel as
comfortable as possible, I am happy to work with our clients on covering as much or less
skin with a cover up sheet and along with offering a privacy screen. Or offering silence appointments for people on a spectrum.

Duty of Care:

Duty of care is a legal term used to describe the obligation imposed on individuals requiring that they exercise a reasonable standard of care while providing services. A duty of care means that Anna Rose Tattoo as an artist and her staff, collectively and individually, have a responsibility to take reasonable steps to ensure clients are:

• Safe.
• Consenting.
• Unharmed.
• Protected from abuse.
• Informed of any potential side effects and risks.
• Receive a standard of care and treatment that is evidence-based.
• Receive a quality of care and treatment that complies with the profession’s specific and
generic standards of practice.

Hygiene and Safety:

The health and safety of our clients, artists and staff members is our highest priority at Anna Rose Tattoo business. We continuously aim to educate ourselves and work to the highest standard of
environmental cleaning and disinfection as per the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations. Our practices include and are not limited to:

• Promoting good hand hygiene by providing hand washing facilities and/or alcohol-
based hand sanitiser.
• Undertaking frequent cleaning and disinfection of workspaces, particularly objects and
surfaces that are frequently touched.
• The use of plastic barriers to separate sterile and non-sterile zones.
• The use of the highest quality of sterile single use needles.
• Obeying infection prevention and control policies as directed by the Australian
Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. Along with wearing the required personal
protective equipment i.e., disposable gloves.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

To book a tattoo with Anna Rose we require a booking fee of $300 for each session
before securing a date in Anna Rose calendar. This amount will come off the final value amount of your tattoo session. The rest is to be paid in cash on the day of appointment. The booking fee amount is non-refundable.

Once we have received the booking fee in our nominated account, we will send an email of confirmation to inform you that your requested date and time have been booked.
Anna Rose understands that life happens and from time to time clients may
need to reschedule their appointments. I require at least ten days notice in order to
keep your booking fee. If less than ten days notice, your booking fee will be forfeited and if you wish to rebook you will have to pay another booking fee. Under special circumstances, a cancellation fee (booking fee forfeit) may be waived. This is at the discretion of Anna Rose Tattoo.

Any clients wishing to reschedule are to send an email to bookings@annarosetattoo.com. My art manager will take care of your situation and will allocate your booking to a new day. You will need to include their Full name and the date/time of their booking along with their next availabilities. We do not accept rescheduling requests from any social media platforms, SMS or phone call. Email requests for rescheduling must be sent within business hours of 11am and 6pm. Any
requests sent out of this time will be responded to and classified as the next business day.
We recommend giving as much notice when rescheduling to avoid losing your booking fee.

Price Policy

Deposit $300 (non-refundable)

Half day $800 (3 - 4 hours)

Full day $1500 (6-8 hours)

Rescheduling requires 14 days notice upfront. Falling to give 14 days notice results in forfeiture of the deposit. New deposits have to be paid for new and ongoing projects.

Designs are to be shown on the day of the appointment, all changes are done on the day of the appointment timeframe.

The deposit stays on file and comes off the price of the last appointment, depending on the complexity of the design, placement and skin conditions.

Appointments include everything starting from stencil, design alteration, freehanding, lunch break and a few short stretching breaks.

Don’t plan anything after the appointment. I can stay longer with you for an hour or two with no extra charge if I want to and if your project needs it, but don't force or expect it. I stay genuinely 6 hours hands-on with clients for full-day appointments.  All alterations will be discussed openly on the day.

Large Scale projects price:

Large projects, requiring 4, 5 and more sessions (arm sleeve, back piece, leg sleeve, full bodysuit) are going to be discounted by 20% of each session. Every long-term project will require face-to-face consultation and will be discussed individually.
